Forget the Grammys! This afternoon we attended the Gerthe Christensen 733 House Concert #2. Beautiful setting for some beautiful music just a few doors down. Our neighbors graciously opened their doors to friends and locals to hear some live music- and by live I mean no microphones, no amps.

We haven't even formally met the hosting couple, but found ourselves in their living room, drinking their wine, sitting shoulder to shoulder with other music lovers. Another reason to love Los Angeles. (Perhaps the Compound can host an event someday, likely featuring a drum kit and homemade whiskey.)
